I highly recommend Debbie Engle. She was an incredible therapist for my daughter Joy. Debbie helped Joy significantly during the year she received therapy with her. My daughter has a tough personality, and Debbie found a way to relate and challenge her in ways I didn’t think possible. We are so thankful for the year Joy was blessed to have her has a therapist. I highly recommend Debbie Engle as she works with children who are struggling. I brought my son to her at age 7, struggling, unable to read near grade level and unable to retain basic math facts, and he just completed 4th grade having made straight A’s for the year. I could not be more grateful for her patience and her loving care for each individual child. I appreciate her expertise and her creativity in teaching. And I know that my son would not be where he is without her. Ragan D.

NILD therapy with Mrs. Engle made all the difference. We spent thousands on tutoring, and hours re-teaching daily lessons and concepts from school, cried over homework and reading simple books-“I can’t do it mama.” After just a few sessions of NILD therapy, we began to see a difference. Now we have a confident 4th grader who wants to try the hard words, spontaneously reads-literally everything in front of him. He would not have made the progress he has without NILD therapy and Mrs. Engle’s help. TJ M

When we were searching for an educational therapist for our son, Debbie Engle came highly recommended by both SCAIHS (South Carolina Association of Independent Home Schools) and the psychologist who completed his educational evaluation. After working with Debbie for nearly two years, I can honestly say she has exceeded every expectation.
Our son has dyslexia, ADHD, and is on the autism spectrum. When we first met Debbie, he could only read a handful of words. Today, he is reading books. Debbie has an incredible gift for connecting with children, understanding how they learn, and making learning both effective and fun. She genuinely loves every child she works with and celebrates every success alongside their families.
After seeing the difference she made with our son, we asked her to work with our teenage daughter as well. Debbie helped rebuild her confidence, encouraged her to believe in herself, and helped her begin planning for college and her future. Today, she is an A/B Honor Roll student and on track to graduate early.
Debbie isn’t just an exceptional educational therapist—she is an incredible person. She supports the entire family, truly cares about her students, and has a gift for helping children discover what they’re capable of.
We will always be grateful for everything Debbie has done for our family. She has changed our children’s lives in ways we can never fully express, and we truly love her with our whole hearts. If you’re looking for someone who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your child’s success, I cannot recommend Debbie highly enough.
